About Me

Hi! I am Alex.
An undergraduate student at the University of Michigan pursuing a dual degree in Computer Science and Music, I aspire to be great at the mellifluous confluence where digital logic intertwines with humans and sounds.

Research Interests Computer Music | AI/ML | Accessiblity | Organology
I am ecstatic about exploring the musical aspect of human expression, particularly through the engineering of novel paradigms in music creation and appreciation, augmented by machine learning methods.
My research also aims to promote inclusive and accessible music education by designing interactive and immersive experiences in the classroom.
Additionally, my passion extends to organology, examined through a cross-cultural ethnomusicological lens, with a special emphasis on Chinese musical instruments from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
